FRS Training Updates
We were delighted to be back at the National Ploughing Championship 2022. This year FRS were focused on a recruitment drive for milkers and farm safety for farm families.
Throughout the 3 days, we welcomed farm families of all ages to our stand for a cup of tea and to chat to each business division about our wide range of services that support farms and livelihoods, including farm jobs.
Along with launching our newly designed FReSia (our colourful cow), below are the highlights from each business division:
Free online Farm Safety Training
Funded by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine under the EIP Initiative, Farm Family CPD aims to deliver innovative online health & safety training to farm families throughout Ireland to make Irish farms safer living and workplaces. On the stand, farm families could register their interest and chat to the team about farm safety. The project is supported by FRS Training, HSA, Teagasc, FBD, IFA and FRS Network.
Farm Staff Recruitment Drive
To support growing customer demand, FRS Farm Relief were recruiting hiring farm staff and milkers to join their team. With over 300 positions available, candidates came into the stand to chat and apply for the flexible job opportunities. www.frsfarmrelief.ie/careers
